Husqvarna Automower® 405XE NERA is a robotic lawn mower for lawns up to 600 m². With the EdgeCut function, the need to trim the lawn edges is minimized, saving time and effort. The 405XE NERA offers the option for wire-free installation using satellite technology or installation with physical boundaries via a wire.

EdgeCut for minimized trimming needs

EdgeCut minimizes the need to trim the lawn's edges, saving both time and effort. The feature is enabled by a dedicated rear EdgeCut blade disc that can cut so close to the edges that only a minimal amount of grass is left uncut.

Automower® Zone Control

Automower® Zone Control makes it easy to create work areas with different settings and temporary no-mow zones. This gives you more control over your lawn so that you can apply different schedules and cutting heights to each area or prevent the robotic mower from mowing in selected areas.

Detects and avoids objects

Built-in sensors help the mower detect and avoid objects, reducing the risk of unplanned stops. Detection mode reduces speed, making collisions softer, and the object avoidance mode causes the mower to turn away and avoid collisions.

Automower® Connect app

Enjoy convenient remote control from your smartphone with the Husqvarna Automower® Connect app. You can, among other things, manage and monitor your Husqvarna robotic lawn mower, change settings, and easily access information and tips to make lawn care hassle-free. Mobile, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth® connectivity are available depending on the model.

Electric height adjustment

Electric cutting height adjustment makes it convenient to set the desired height via the Husqvarna Automower® Connect app. The setting is also available in the mower’s main menu.

Smart home integration

Compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home for convenient voice control and status updates. Automower® Connect you can also integrate your robotic mower with your Gardena Smart System and allow mowing and watering to cooperate.

GPS theft protection

Equipped with GPS tracking that keeps track of your mower and minimizes the risk of theft. Notifications are sent to your device via the Automower Connect® app so you always know where your mower is located.

Automower® Access

Automower® Access is user-friendly and features a high-resolution color display, selector wheel, and status indicator, resulting in an intuitive way to control your mower. The icon-based design language is integrated with the Automower® Connect app, providing a seamless user experience.

Automatic passage handling

Husqvarna Automower® automatically detects narrow passages and can pass through even in the tightest spaces. To avoid track formation, it varies its path through the passage.

Rewilding Mode

Rewilding Mode is designed to let nature become part of your garden again. When activated, it automatically designates 10% of the lawn as a rewilding area. The Automower® leaves this area untouched for as long as you wish, and you can change the size, reshape, move, or remove the rewilding area at any time. To use Rewilding Mode, an installation with a boundary wire is required.

Secondary area

Create a secondary area if your lawn has two areas that are not connected by a passage for your mower. To create a secondary area, you need to lay out the boundary wire so that an island is created around that area. Once installation is complete, you manually move the mower between these two areas, and the mower will cut for a selected time or until the battery is empty.

Weather timer

Adapts working time according to how fast the grass grows, reducing wear on both the lawn and the mower. During periods of vigorous growth, Husqvarna Automower® maximizes mowing time. In sunny or dry weather, or towards the end of the season, it does not cut as long or as often.

Spiral cutting

Automatic cutting function to even out differences in grass height. Sensors on the blade disc detect if the mower enters an area with higher grass and switch to systematic spiral patterns.

Easy cleaning

Easily wash the robotic lawn mower’s exterior and underside with a garden hose. Removable cover and body for easy cleaning and access everywhere.

Automower® X-Line

Husqvarna Automower® X-Line is our most feature-packed series, designed for those who want a premium robotic mower. Equipped with the X-Line features package, including Automower® Connect with GPS theft tracking, GPS-assisted navigation, LED headlights, front rubber bumper, and X-Line body design.

GeoFence

If the mower is moved outside the defined area, you will be notified in the app, minimizing the risk of theft. Use the Automower® Connect app to easily define the mower’s theft protection area.

Low carbon emissions

When you choose this product, you can be confident that it emits lower carbon emissions during active use compared to a traditional gasoline product. This battery-powered product emits no carbon dioxide during use while delivering the power and quality you expect from a Husqvarna product. However, it’s important to remember that carbon emissions do occur during other stages of the product’s lifecycle, such as manufacturing, charging, and disposal of decommissioned products.

Profiles

Create various profiles with individual settings to make it easier to use the mower in multiple locations. With personal names for each profile and installation, it’s easy to switch between different settings via the mower’s menu.

Customizable lawn maintenance thanks to wire-free installation with virtual boundaries available with an EPOS® plug-in accessory. The virtual boundaries are easy to adjust in the Husqvarna Automower® Connect app, and you can create no-mow zones and multiple work areas with different settings.

Frost protection

The robotic lawn mower automatically pauses the mowing schedule when there is frost, helping protect the lawn.
