Husqvarna Automower® 580 EPOS® – a high-performance robotic lawn mower for demanding commercial lawn maintenance. Specifically designed for sports fields with high maintenance needs requiring frequent mowing and exceptional grass quality. It is equipped with an extra-powerful cutting motor that delivers optimal cutting results down to 20 mm, even on intensively fertilized areas with very strong grass growth. The satellite-based Husqvarna EPOS® technology enables installation without a boundary wire, allowing you to customize different work areas and configure temporary restricted zones. EPOS® also facilitates work with deep aeration and grass renovation without the risk of downtime. This model is built for durability with a reinforced rubberized front and features active wheel brushes (available as accessories) to improve traction. EPOS® RS5 reference station is required.

Husqvarna EPOS® technology without boundary wire

Virtual, wire-free operation using satellite-based RTK-GNSS technology enables accuracy down to approximately 2 cm. The absence of physical boundary wires brings a new level of resilience and flexibility, allowing regular aeration and grass repair without compromising the robotic installation’s function.

Selectable mowing patterns

Enhance the visual appearance of the lawn by changing the mowing pattern. With EPOS® technology, the mower can be operated in parallel lines and create a variety of mowing shapes, such as diamonds, triangles, and checkerboards.

Warning lights

Warning lights with pulsing or constant illumination to raise awareness in the surroundings when operating during dark hours. Reduces the risk of accidents in public environments.

Husqvarna Fleet Services™

Husqvarna Fleet Services™ gives you full control over the mower, enabling you to monitor, control, and analyze your entire fleet from your smartphone, tablet, or laptop. You can view status and exact location, command start/stop, or group-command them to park at storm warnings or during thunderstorms. Settings and mowing heights are easily adjusted. Receive alerts and track the mower’s position in case of theft – anywhere. Support from Automower Connect is required during installation and when editing EPOS® installations without boundary wire.

Extra powerful cutting motor

Powerful 80 W cutting motor with aluminum frame for increased stability and cooling. The high torque of the motor ensures perfect mowing results and makes it particularly suitable for sports and golf areas with high-intensity grass growth.

Quick-release blade disc

Blade disc with single-bolt quick release for fast and easy blade changes. With an extra blade disc, you can prepare blade replacements in advance to minimize maintenance and downtime.

Floating cutting system

Spring-loaded cutting system that flexibly adapts to the ground contour and irregularities, ensuring optimal cutting results. The robust blade disc system is – typical for Husqvarna – equipped with sharp, razor-like blades made of strong carbon steel, providing outstanding mowing results and extremely low energy consumption.

Object avoidance with radar

The mower has built-in sensors with radar technology that identify objects, reduce speed, and avoid hard collisions.

Rubberized front bumper

The reinforced, rubberized front bumper reduces impact force in collisions with hard objects.

IPX5-protected – can be washed with hose

The product is waterproof (IPX5), making it easy and quick to clean the exterior and underside with a water hose. The removable top cover provides easy access to facilitate regular maintenance.

180° service mode

The chassis’s rubber supports provide a stable upside-down position for non-slip transport and storage. This mode also facilitates maintenance on hard surfaces without causing scratches or damage to the body.

Option for enhanced remote start

Remotely restart a stopped robotic mower via the mobile app, saving time and effort. This function is convenient in case of unscheduled stops caused by unauthorized interference, allowing you to quickly resume mowing without having to visit the mower physically.

Dock with cable

The charging station can be installed in areas without satellite coverage using a local cable corridor. You have the option to hide or protect the charging station under a roof or in a garage.

Customized work areas

The fully connected product gives the ability to individually tailor each work area with a unique schedule, cutting height, and cutting pattern. Provides customized lawn care for sites with multiple scattered areas.

Temporary no-mow zones

When needed, create temporary no-mow zones in your robotic installation. Activate or deactivate quickly and easily via the mobile app. Convenient if an area needs to be restricted for temporary construction work, seeding, or during events.

EPOS® guidance

Automatically calculates the best route to and from the charging station. Varies the route to avoid worn wheel tracks in the lawn.

Maintenance parking space

Designate and mark a parking space for maintenance on the map. By command, the machine automatically parks there awaiting service, cleaning, loading, or storage.

appDrive – remote control operation

Operate the product via remote control using the appDrive function on your smartphone. Handling is simple and user-friendly, sparing you strenuous, unnecessary lifting when moving the product between work sites, to the service facility, or during installation.

Professional user interface

Offers remote control with theft tracking via Husqvarna Fleet Services™ on computer/tablet, as well as complete control of the mower and configuration via smartphone. Controls on the product, status LED indicators, and START/STOP functionality.

Electric height adjustment

Electric cutting height adjustment makes it convenient to set the desired height via the Husqvarna Automower® Connect app. The setting is also available in the mower’s main menu.

Blade disc with 5 blades

The blade discs on the commercial models—Automower 500 series and CEORA—are equipped with 5 Enhance HSS blades, yielding higher cutting performance. More blades per disc provide a finer cut and extend the intervals between blade replacements.

Handles slopes up to 45%

Large, wide-treaded tires provide excellent traction even on slippery surfaces. The mower can mow on slopes up to 45%.

Theft protection with GPS

Equipped with theft protection via GPS, which gives you notifications via smartphone, tablet, or computer. Makes your Automower installation extra secure and minimizes the risk of theft.

Safety sensors

When Husqvarna Automower® is used properly, the product is safe and reliable. It is equipped with multiple sensors, including automatic and immediate shutdown of the cutting function if the unit tips over or is lifted off the ground. The product design ensures that the blades are positioned far from the outer edge of the machine body for increased safety. If Automower® encounters obstacles, it will stop or change direction, further ensuring overall mowing performance.

Weather-resistant design

Husqvarna’s robotic products are built with 30 years of experience in various types of harsh weather, as found in the Nordic climate. With normal maintenance and cleaning, they are designed to operate around the clock throughout the grass season. The unique cutting system, with pivoting razor-like blades on a blade disc, ensures cutting performance even in rainy conditions.

FOTA – Firmware Over-The-Air

FOTA – a technology that enables operators to perform firmware upgrades via the Fleet Services app. The download is done remotely, without the need for physical intervention with the product, and allows for new features and updates.
